Ecumenical worship service planned for Riverside Days

Springfield churches invite everyone to come together for an ecumenical worship service as part of the Riverside Days celebration weekend.  It will be held on Sunday, June 25 at 10 a.m. in Shelter #3 at Riverside Park.  All camping visitors, families and friends are welcome to join in worship.

The Springfield Ministerium will be leading the service.  Special music will be by Gospel Express and other local musicians.  An offering collected during the service will be donated to the Springfield Area Food Emergency (S.A.F.E.) Program.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating—a few extra chairs will be available, first come, first served.

In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 303 North Cass Avenue, Springfield.
