St. Paul’s pastor Mattson leaving Springfield

On Sunday, July 30, Pastor Tricia Mattson announced to her congregation that she would be leaving St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield effective August 31. She has served the local congregation for seven years, since 2016.
Mattson has accepted a call to be a Hospice Chaplain in Duluth, Minnesota. The move will also allow her to be closer to her family.
Pastor Tricia’s final service at St. Paul’s will be this Sunday, August 20 at 9:00 a.m. The congregation will be hosting an open house farewell reception for her following the service until 11:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to stop by, say thank you and wish her good luck in her new religious journey.
