St. Raphael’s welcomes Father Jeremy Kucera

Father Jeremy Kucera is the new pastor for the Vine and Branches Area Faith Community—St. Raphael in Springfield, St. Joseph in Lamberton and St. Thomas Oratory in Sanborn.  He began his duties June 27 and is excited to begin the new avenue of his faith journey. 

Father Jeremy grew up on a small dairy farm at Silver Lake, Minnesota.  Following high school graduation, he pursued his undergraduate degree in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas with minors in Business Management and Philosophy.  He spent the last semester of his undergraduate education studying at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy.  He received his Master of Divinity degree from the University of St. Thomas.
