Sundown Lutheran Church closes after 150 years

Sundown Lutheran Church, located nine miles northwest of Springfield in Sundown Township of Redwood County, celebrated it’s 150th anniversary Saturday, July 13 and then worshipped together for the last time Sunday, July 14. The church closed it’s doors following the service that day.
