Dylan Simonson had great time as Twins’ Batting Practice Buddy

Dylan Simonson had an exciting day recently when he was picked to be a WCCO Batting Practice Buddy for the Minnesota Twins.  Dylan enjoyed an afternoon on the field with the Twins during batting practice.   He enjoyed meeting players and obtaining their autographs. 

He was interviewed by WCCO’s weatherman, Mike Augustyniak, that aired on the 5 o’clock news the evening of June 17. Byron Buxton, who made his debut for the Twins that day, was also included in the interview.

Dylan was escorted onto the field with the Twins mascot, TC, before the game started, and was introduced and featured on the Jumbotron.Then he watched the game with his family.  WCCO-TV provided four game tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas at the game.
