Holiday Open House Tuesday, November 12 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

 Feel the glow and celebrate the holiday season during Springfield’s annual Holiday Open House.  

Springfield’s 2024 Holiday Open House, will be next Tuesday, November 12 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Hours may vary by participating merchants. 

This is an excellent opportunity to support local business and see the many products and services available to shoppers.

There are several, not to be missed events planned for the evening of Tuesday, November 12, beginning with Community Choir Sing near the Fire Station. Enjoy the sounds of the holiday season with a variety of Springfield choirs who will sing carols from 5:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. 

The very popular free horse drawn carriage rides are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until 8:00 p.m. They will pick up riders at Martha Anderson Park. This event is sponsored by F&M Bank, MidCountry Bank,  SouthPoint Financial Credit Union, Springfield American Legion Post 257 and Springfield Area Lions. 

Santa will be downtown beginning at 6:00. Stop by to visit the jolly fellow. Free apple cider and cookies will be served 5:30-7:30. This event is sponsored by Allina Health Springfield Clinic. 

Come on out and join in the fun and support your local businesses. Jingle Bell tickets start that evening and you can collect double the tickets during Holiday Open House. See the advertisement on page two for participating businesses.
