National Skilled Nursing Care Week is recognized May 8-14

St. John’s Circle of Care to celebrate

St. John’s Circle of Care will celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week May 8-14, 2022.  This year’s theme is “Creating and Nurturing Connections.”

Every day, skilled nursing care centers assist our seniors and people with disabilities in living their happiest and best lives.  Whether it’s planting, cooking, reading or listening to music, St. John’s Circle of Care pays it forward by helping individuals find their own happiness to improve their quality of life.

“St. John’s Circle of Care has more than 150 employees who do great work and National Skilled Nursing Care Week is a good time to show our appreciation and acknowledge all that they do,” said Chaplain Noel Wetter.

“We are fortunate that our community has St. John’s Circle of Care where we provide quality care and a place to let residents age in place and can continue to thrive at doing leisure pursuits that they enjoy,” added St. John’s Foundation Director Lindsey Beyer.

St. John’s wants to celebrate our residents, show our appreciation to our employees and highlight the special programs scheduled throughout the week:

•Monday, May 9 — Spiritual Connection

•Tuesday, May 10 — Wellness Connection

•Wednesday, May 11 — Connecting With Others

•Thursday, May 12 — Musical Connection

•Friday, May 13 — Connecting With Nature

The entire campus at St. John’s Circle of Care—St. John Lutheran Home, The Maples, St. John’s GrandKids and Cottonwood—is grateful to be a part of the Springfield area community.  Thank you for your continued support to and involvement in our Senior Living Community.
