Rotary Club's annual Rose Sale is underway

The Springfield Rotary Club is conducting its annual Rotary Rose Sale again this year. It is your opportunity to create a double-dose of happiness.  Make someone happy with a dozen (or more) beautiful roses and help the local Rotary Club spread more happiness through the  worthwhile causes the club supports with the sale proceeds. The Rose Sale is entering its twenty-eighth year supporting the Springfield community. The roses are selling for $20 per dozen.  Five hundred dozen roses have been ordered from the supplier this year.  Sales were very brisk last year so you are encouraged to place your orders early.

Orders are being received now through Monday, October 4.  They will be delivered October 11-13.  There is free local delivery or you can arrange to pick up your order at the Advance-Press office. To place an order, see or call a Rotary Club member—or place your order with Jeff Krueger at the Springfield Advance-Press, 723-4225 (office.aps@newulmtel.net); Joe Stremcha at Springfield City Hall, 507-766-8767 (coachstremcha@gmail.com);  or Kahla Petersen, 723-9910 (deluxe@newulmtel.net). This is the Rotary Club’s only fundraiser for 2021.  The annual Community Auction, usually held in the spring, was cancelled again this year.

Roses are one of the most enduring symbols of love and appreciation.  A gift of roses helps brighten the days for many people, especially those still struggling with the pandemic!  The sale also helps local charities and organizations.  All proceeds will be invested back into the local community.
