Bonus Issue

This week's edition of the Springfield Advance-Press is the fifty-third issue produced in 2014. Most years, the number of weekly issues will equal the number of weeks in a year. Most years have 265 days but a leap year has 366 days. That adds us to 52 weeks (where each eweek is exactly 7 days) plus 1 or 2 additional days. The year 2014 has exactly 365 days - it started on a Wednesday and ended up on the 53rd Wednesday of the year.
