Cold doesn’t stop Springfield’s Easter Egg Hunt!

The bitter cold and snow-covered ground didn’t stop St. John’s Circle of Care Foundation from hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt for hundreds of children Saturday morning.
The temperature of 26 degrees with a cold wind blowing, that didn’t seem to chill the enthusiasm of the children who turned out for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. They were so excited that they didn’t wait for a bell when they began their scramble to pick up the most eggs, and in about three minutes it was over!
Hundreds of colorful candy-filled eggs were snatched up in several minutes.
