Community Center parking lot extended

The parking lot at the Springfield Area Community Center has been extended to the east of the building.  A crew from M.R. Paving is pictured doing the groundwork last week. The asphalt paving was done Monday.  The  new addition to the parking lot will accommodate about 50 vehicles.  The project is funded by the recent gift to the City of Springfield / Springfield Area Community Center from the Henry and Elsie Roiger estate.
