Dave Gross wins top art award

Former Springfield businessman and artist David Gross, now retired and residing with wife Mary in Starbuck, captured the top award in the 2016 Juried Art Show at the Springfield Public Library. Gross’ prize-winning acrylic / air brush painting is titled, On a Night Like This. The subject of the art piece is Gross’ four-year-old granddaughter, Jocelyn, daughter of Sam and Amy Gross of Maple Grove, as she is pictured in the glow of a campfire during a family outing.
