Four men in law enforcement seek sheriff’s job
Four men are candidates for Brown County Sheriff and voters will narrow this race to two candidates in the August 14 Primary Election. The candidates are:
• Jason Fairbairn, who has 18 years of experience serving in Brown County as a deputy;
• Jeff Hohensee, who has 27 years of experience in police work and currently is the senior investigator for the New Ulm Police Department;
• Matt Ibberson, a six-year deputy with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office; and
• Jason Seidl Chief Deputy of Brown County, chosen in 2007 by newly-elected Sheriff Rich Hoffmann.
