Free women’s health forum April 29

Mayo Clinic Health System in Springfield is hosting a free women’s health forum on Wednesday, April 29, at the Springfield Area Community Center, 33 Cass Avenue. Lunch will be served free of charge.

Mayo Clinic Health System providers Kristina Carlson, nurse practitioner, Kelsey Nylander, D.O., Ashley Schmitt, nurse practitioner, and Jennifer White, M.D., will present on a number of women’s health topics, including health screening and prevention. Regular screenings are important for many conditions, including breast cancer, diabetes and the No. 1 killer of women — heart disease. These Mayo Clinic experts will explain the benefits of preventive measures and answer your health-related questions.
