Jody Pautzke named director of nursing at SJLH

 “I am excited and ready for a new challenge,” says Jody Pautzke, R.N., the new director of nursing at St. John Lutheran Home.   Pautzke has been employed at St. John Home the past 17 years and comes to her new position of leadership with an abundance of experience and time dedicated to nursing. She has worked night shifts, day shifts, supervised Riverhaven and Station 1 Southwest, and served as assistant director of nursing the past six months. “I really do enjoy working on the floor with residents,” said Pautzke. “They are a lot of fun, and we want them to have a good place to live and enjoy life here.” 

Pautzke grew up on a farm near Morristown, graduated from Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School, and earned her bachelor degree in nursing from Concordia College, Moorhead. She worked in nursing in group homes in Faribault and Chisholm before joining the staff at St. John’s Circle of Care.
