License your pet this spring

Spring is here, and pets and people alike are excited to get outdoors. Springfield pet owners are required to obtain a license from the City for their dogs and cats. Cost of a license is $10.00 per year per pet, with the licensing year beginning May 1. To obtain a license, you must have your pet up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations. Those interested in using the dog park this coming summer will need to have their dog licensed with the City. Stop in at City Hall with proof of vaccinations to obtain your license.
