Oh, the wonders of the modern grocery store! We are given more choices than ever before. As a consumer, we want to make wise choices about the food we eat.
Obviously, the more we eat natural, whole foods — lean meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains, and low fat dairy — the better it is for our health. But if a portion of your diet consists of something out of a box, bag or can, you should read the ingredient label and find out what you’re really ingesting.
