St. John’s Circle of Care is celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week
St. John’s Circle of Care will celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week May 12-18, 2019. This year’s theme, “Living Soulfully,” will celebrate skilled nursing centers, their residents and staff, by showcasing how they achieve happy minds and healthy souls.
Every day, skilled nursing care centers assist our seniors and people with disabilities in living their happiest and best lives. Whether it’s planting, cooking, reading or listening to music, St. John’s Circle of Care pays it forward by helping individuals find their own happiness to improve their quality of life.
“St. John’s Circle of Care has more than 150 employees who do great work, and National Skilled Nursing Care Week is a good time to show our appreciation and acknowledge all that they do,” said Chaplain Noel Wetter. “We are so fortunate to have the Grandkids/VIK Daycare, After-school, and a Summer Children’s Program. Both our seniors and the children are equally blessed by this Intergenerational Programming.”
“We are fortunate that our community has such a fine nursing home,” added St. John’s Foundation Director Lindsey Beyer. The entire Community is welcomed to come and celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week with the residents, tenants and staff.” said Lindsey.
We are wanting to celebrate our residents, show our appreciation to our employees and highlight the special programs throughout the week.
