Windom man is State Farm agemt
Kelsey Fossing of Windom is the new State Farm agent in Springfield.
“I am glad to be here,” Fossing, said during an interview Friday. He is enjoying his new offices at 108 West Central Street, and has been busy getting organized and acquainted in Springfield. “Everything is falling into place,” he said. He began work here on January 2. “I have always liked the community,” he said.
Fossing, grew up on a farm near Windom, graduated from Windom High School, and earned his degree in finance and business management from Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall in 2006. He worked at the Windom State Farm office for the past six years.
He succeeds Jeff Manage, 49, who died unexpectedly Dec. 17, 2013.
“I have lots of experience surrounding me, he said. His colleagues are Stacy Walton, who has worked in the local agency the past 10 years. Kelly Chester, of Windom, who has 19 years of experience with State Farm Insurance, has also joined the agency. “All three of us are certified to handle all lines of insurance,” Fossing said.
