WWII Veteran will soon celebrate 100th birthday

Elton Ahlness can easily be described as both hard working and happy. He is also a part of the “Greatest Generation” He will celebrate his 100th birthday this Thursday, July 2.
Elton was born near Hanska, in Linden Township to Hans and Ida Ahlness. He grew up on the family farm, with his three brothers and three sisters. He also had two step-sisters and two step-brothers as well.
