YES team again collecting holiday lights for recycling

The Springfield High School YES team invites you to go “green” this holiday season by recycling your non-functioning lights. The YES team is again collecting strands of holiday lights for recycling.  As you upgrade your holiday lights to LED, or are replacing holiday lights for other reasons, remember to recycle the old lights. Drop off your old, tangled and broken holiday lights at Runnings, Jim’s Market in Springfield, or in the high school office.   The collection goes on through January 15.

This is a project of the Recycling Association of Minnesota: The Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM) is committed to promoting resource conservation through waste prevention, reuse, recycling, composting and purchasing practices using the most cost effective and environmentally sound methods available in Minnesota.
