Anna Mae Dorow

Anna Mae Dorow, 95, Truman died on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Truman Senior Living.  

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorow will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman with Rev. Nathan Rusert officiating.  Inurnment will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Truman, and one hour before the services on Thursday.

Anna Mae Willemssen was born on April 2, 1919, near Mountain Lake, to Chris and Jessie (Kruger) Willemssen.  On March 3, 1946, Anna Mae was united in marriage to Norman Dorow at Zion Lutheran Church in Springfield.  They lived in the Springfield area.  In 1968 they moved to Truman.  Anna Mae worked as a homemaker and was an avid quilter.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman.  Anna Mae entered the Truman Senior Living in 2004.

Left to cherish her memories is her son, Erv Dorow and his wife Sharon of Fairmont; two grandsons, Jon and his wife Lisa of Fairmont and their children Alex, Ian, Joe, Dru and Ryan and his wife Nicole of Fairmont and their son Korbyn and many nieces and nephews.  Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, in 2010; two sisters, Matilda (Chris) Krumwiede, Alena (Ed) Krumwiede and a brother, Harold Willemssen.
