Arlene Anderson, 87, of Dawson, died Wednesday, Feb, 28, 2018, at the Johnson Memorial Care Center in Dawson. Memorial services were held March 9, at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Arlene (Bergstrom) Anderson was born on Jan. 16, 1931, in Wabasso, to Victor and Hazel (Jacobsen) Bergstrom. She was one of 13 children. She graduated from Wabasso High School. She married John Anderson on May 14, 1952. Arlene was a daycare provider for several years and then worked at the Dawson Bakery.
Arlene is survived by her children, Sherri (Jeff) Ellefson of Springfield, Mike (Sue) Anderson of Winthrop, and Rick Anderson of Dawson; four grandchildren; five brothers, four sisters, many nieces and nephews.
