Bernard Menter

Bernard Lee Menter, 80 of Storden, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at the Sanford Westbrook Hospital.

Visitation with family took place from 3:00 to 7:00 Monday afternoon, Nov. 12, at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.

Bernard Lee Menter was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Anoka, to Kenneth and Erma (Lewis) Menter. He was united in marriage to Delores Embree onSept. 7, 1956, in Bethel. Bernard was a dairy farmer for many years, then moved to Lamberton in 1981. He also worked for Sanborn Manufacturing for over 20 years and did lawn work for family and friends after retirement.

He is survived by children, Terry Menter of Springfield, Wayne Menter of Lamberton, Monica Menter of Lamberton, Alana Menter of Lamberton, Jennifer (Brien) Menter Walters of Farmington, Kalum (Nadine) Menter of Wabasso, and Rusty Menter of Lamberton; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother; and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores, in January 2009; one sister; and daughter-in-law, Jackie Menter.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.
