Bruce Wetter

Bruce Wetter, 86, of Lamberton died July 9, 2017, at Seasons Hospice in Redwood Falls.

A Service of Remembrance was held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lamberton at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15. Interment was in the Lamberton Cemetery.

Bruce A. Wetter was born Dec. 31, 1930, the son of Otto and Hazel (Coomes) Wetter. He grew up on the family farm southwest of Wanda.  After his 1948 graduation from Lamberton High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served until 1952. He worked as a lineman for Interstate Power Company from 1952 until retiring in 1987. After retirement he worked for Kluegel and Sturm Funeral Homes for many years. He married Arlene Arends on Oct. 17, 1953. They had two children and were married for 63 years.
