On April 19, 1956, she was united in marriage to Donald A. Anderson in Springfield, MN. The couple farmed north of Sanborn and in 1976, they moved to the farm in Sundown Township, Redwood County. Clarice was a dedicated mom and farm wife. Clarice moved to Springfield in 2011 and then to the Maples in 2021. She is a member of Sundown Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, attended Bible Study, and was a member of the Ladies Aid. Clarice enjoyed flower gardening, quilting, sewing, crocheting, needle work, was a very good cook and loved watching her grandchildren's ball games. She enjoyed traveling in later years, but her biggest passion was sewing together several hundreds of quilts and gave many away. Clarice was a very generous, witty person and was very giving of herself to others because of her very big heart. She always had a beautiful smile for everyone.

She is survived by her son Mike (Domitilla) Anderson of Springfield, and daughter Marie Anderson of Springfield and her children - Jen (Jeff) Gunness of Senoia, GA, and Josh (Mandy Morin) Van Loy of Sanborn; great grandchildren - Colton, Sydney, and Reagan Gunness; siblings - Calvin (Shirley) of Comfrey and Carol (Ron) of Leavenworth; and sister-in-law, Mary Lee Shoen of New Ulm. Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Donald in 2002, a son - Marvin Anderson, a grandson - Chad Van Loy, and siblings - Cletus, Cleo, Curtis, Cyril, Cecil (Butch) and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Blessed be her memory.
