Constance Marie Wellner age 70, of Madelia died on January 12, 2022, at her home in Madelia, MN.
Visitation was on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel.
Service was held at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield on Monday at 2:00 p.m.
The clergy was Chaplain Noel Wetter. Interment was at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield.

Connie was born on March 10, 1951, in Springfield to Virgil and Margaret Wellner, the 2nd of 6 children.
Connie became a resident of the REM Home in September 1990 and resided there until her passing. Connie became friends with the other residents and staff at the Rem Home where she enjoyed their interaction and companionship, and they will miss her very much. She also enjoyed having family visits.
Connie is survived by her mother, Margaret of Springfield, Donald (Denise) Wellner, of Springfield, Dean (Cai) Wellner of Mankato, Brad (Carol) Wellner of Elbert, CO, and Tom (Terry Weber Johnson) of Eagle Lake.
She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil and infant brother, Jeffery, paternal and maternal grandparents.
Connie's family would like to sincerely thank all past and present staff at the REM Home for the excellent care she received over the past 31 years. The family would also like to thank Hospice for their compassionate care during Connie's final days.
