Funeral service for Darlene Lou Lavoie, 78, of Sanborn, was held at noon Saturday, May 30, at the United Methodist Church in Sanborn. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery, Balaton.
Mrs. Lavoie died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall.
Darlene Lou Lavoie was born June 19, 1936, on the family farm near Balaton to William and Hazel (Hastings) Lavoie. She is survived by children, Clayton Petersen of Alexandria, Theresa of Savage and Lisa Stein of Courtland.
