David, 55, died Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Butterfield as the result of an accident at work.

David ‘Biley’ Baumann was born September 26, 1959, in Springfield, Brown County, Minnesota, to Vincent ‘Pete’ and Germaine (Solyntjes) Baumann. He attended St. Raphael Catholic School through eighth-grade and graduated from Springfield High School in 1978. He was working for Winters Trucking at the time of his death. A lifetime resident of Springfield, Biley lived life to its fullest. He loved little children, fishing, hunting, playing pool and could be found in any kind of card game. Biley was an accomplished cook and was well known for the best hot turkey sandwiches. Most importantly, Biley had a huge heart and was always there for his friends when they needed a helping hand, support or encouragement. Biley’s family would like to thank all of his friends for standing beside him throughout his entire life.

David is survived by his brothers, Bill (Connie) Baumann of Bemidji, Doug (Kay) Baumann of Onalaska, Wisc., and Rick (Pam) Baumann of Springfield; sister, Betty (Jeff) Mueller of North Mankato; nine nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
