Donald White

Donald White age 96, of Springfield died on March 19, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN. 

Service will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. 

The clergy will be Chaplain Noel Wetter. Interment will be at the Springfield City Cemetery.

Donald Roy White was born October 8, 1925 in Redwood County near Morton, MN to Howard Clinton White and Ida Clara Krueger. Don worked for the power plant, Potter's automotive and as a farm laborer over the course of his adult life. He married Pearl Ellen Jenkins of Springfield in 1963. Together they were affectionately known as "Don & Pearl" within the family relation. Don served in the Army and was an active supporter of the Redwood Falls VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters, Gladys Mary White, Pearl Irene Nelson and a brother, Reverend Delbert White. Don is survived by several nieces and nephews.
