Duane Pingeon

Duane Lyle Pingeon, 86, of Windom, passed away October 8, 2024 at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Windom.

     Duane was born September 16, 1938 near St. James, to Marshall and Hazel (Bales) Pingeon, the youngest of ten children.  He grew up in the Butterfield, St. James and Madelia areas and later lived in Lamberton and Windom.  He worked for the Minnesota DOT for thirty-three years.  He married Barbara Bittler, of Springfield, on February 14, 1961 and they were blessed with two children, Janet and Jeff.  Survivors include brother-in-law, Dave Bittler, of Springfield.
