Frederick von Fischer, Jr.

Frederick William von Fischer, Jr., 88, passed away September 9, 2020.  He was born September 3, 1932 to Frederick  and Martha (Bauch) von Fischer in Springfield.  He graduated from Springfield High School in 1949 and from South Dakota State University in 1955 with a pharmacy degree.  Most of his pharmacy career was spent in the Winona, Minnesota and LaCrosse, Wisconsin area.  He was owner of Holmen Drug in Holmen, Wisconsin until 1992.  He is survived by his wife Ardis, a son and daughter, 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister Anne (von Fischer) Pierson of Brainerd.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
