JoAnn M. Wintheiser

JoAnn M. Wintheiser, age 68 of New Ulm passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her home in New Ulm. 

Due to the current social restraints, a private family graveside service will be held at the Springfield Cemetery with Pastor David Nissen officiating.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Beth (Chad) Cory of Easton, MN; son, Jon (Miranda) Wintheiser, of Kasson, MN; grandchildren, Adam, Devin, Ethan, Kaden, Kalie, Kaleb; sister, Jane (Orlin) Kiecker, of Fairfax, MN and her brother, Barry (Rose) Hoecherl, of Springfield, MN.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Erna Hoecherl.  

JoAnn Martha Hoecherl was born November 22, 1951 in Springfield, to Norbert and Erna (Krueger) Hoecherl. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1969. After high school she graduated from Mankato Vo. Tech. She worked at AMPI, Dittrich Specialties and the New Ulm Journal. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and bird watching. She loved playing games and doing puzzles with her family. She especially loved to spend time with grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
