A Memorial Service for Jonathan Dewey Griffis, 38, of Lamberton will be held Friday, August 21 at the United Methodist Church, Springfield. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with services following at 10:30 a.m. A private, graveside service in Lake Crystal is pending.

Jonathan Dewey Griffis, 38, died at his home in Lamberton on Saturday, August 8, 2015.

He was born in Springfield, Brown County, Minnesota, on September 1, 1976. Jonathan graduated from Springfield High School and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business from National American University.  He was raising his three children, Alanna, Aliza and William in Lamberton.

Jonathan was the son of Mary Kelley Griffis of Breezy Point and the late William C. Griffis.
