Kelly Lou Johnson

A Celebration of the Life of Kelly Lou Johnson, 43, of Janesville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 27) in the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. Rev. Phil Schotzko, pastor of St. Raphael Catholic Church, will officiate at the service.

  Visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00.

Kelly Lou Johnson was born September 10, 1975, in Sleepy Eye, Brown County, Minnesota, to Willard and Carla (Meisinger) Johnson. He graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in 1994 then attended additional schooling as a draftsman. Kelly enjoyed throwing darts, boating, and watching the Minnesota Vikings.

Kelly Lou  died on  Saturday, March 16, 2019, at his home in Janesville.

He is survived by his parents, Willard and Carla Johnson of Springfield; brothers, Scott (Lyn) Johnson of Springfield, and Trent (Julie) Johnson of Ham Lake; sister, Tracy Meeker of the Twin Cities; and best friend Jason Boyum of Janesville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Johnson and Meisinger. 

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
