Kim Polzin

Kim Polzin, 42, of Northfield, passed away Wednesday morning, May 10, 2017, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, following a brief illness.

Kim Elaine Polzin was born March 3, 1975, in Northfield, Minnesota, to Leonard and Elaine (Turbes) Polzin. At birth her family knew that she was a special person who would bring great joy and laughter to everyone she met.  Kim spent many years with Laura Baker Services and Epic Enterprises, working as a custodian for area businesses.  She loved music, the Beatles, art and painting, hockey, game shows and the Vikings.

Survivors include her mother, Elaine of Springfield; 11 siblings.  Jim (Sue) of Portland, Ore., Gary of Northfield, Darrell (Karen) of Bloomington, Brian (Mary Ann) of Burnsville, Mark (Mary) of Northfield, Jodi (Curt) Marcus of Willmar, Mary Anne (Eduardo) Palermo of Fairview, NC., Tom (Brenda) of Faribault, Cressie (Randy) Etringer of Farmington, Robert (Cathy) of Ventura, Calif., and Scott of Bloomington; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard, and her sister-in-law, Lynette.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 15, at the church of St. Dominic in Northfield.  Interment is with her father at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
