LeAnn M. Lehrer

LeAnn Marie (Penk) Lehrer born in Sibley County Minnesota on Nov, 11, 1927, passed away on June 22, 2018, at the age of 90.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Cooper (Bob Heaps) of New Orleans, La.;  sons, David (Sharon) of Madison, Wisc. and Jim (Marilyn) of Louisville, Ky.;  grandchildren, Paul, Eric, Natalie, Heather, Mitchell, Leanna and Megan;  Great-grandchildren, Destinee and Matthew; and Great-great-grandchild, Garrett.

Le Ann was active in her church, St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha Wisc. She retired from Waukesha Cutting Tools as a buyer.  She was also a volunteer at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Waukesha County Corrections where she read and played games with the young people.  She enjoyed travel throughout the United States and around the world.  Le Ann was an avid bridge player, gaining the rank of Life Master.  She has been a long time Brewer fan and enjoyed time with family throughout the year.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16,  at St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha.  Visitation starting at 9:30 and a service at 10:30.   Burial will be in Springfield, Minnesota on July 17.  Visitation will be at the Sturm Funeral Home starting at 10:30 with burial at 11:30.
