Lowell Blick, 73, died on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at his home in rural Morgan.

Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 7, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

Private family services will be held later. Interment will be at the Brookville-Dannebod Cemetery, rural Sleepy Eye.

Lowell Blick was born on July 25, 1941, in Springfield, Brown County, Minnesota, the son of Edner and Julia (Olson) Blick. He attended country school and graduated from Springfield Public High School. He went on to further his education in agriculture at the St. Paul campus. He was united in marriage to Nancy Sandmann on March 3, 1962, in Evan. Lowell served in the National Guard for six years. He worked as a mechanic for three years in Springfield and enjoyed farming. He served on the Brookville Township Board for 40 years, Morgan Rural Fire Association, was a member of the Clements American Legion, Friends of Gilfillan, and the 2-Cylinder Club.  He enjoyed tinkering and fixing almost anything, and John Deere tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Morgan; daughter, Sue and her husband Brian Kanzenbach of New Ulm; grandchildren, Travis Blick, Brenna Kanzenbach, Chloe Kanzenbach, Alex Kanzenbach and Reagan Kanzenbach; and a brother, Loren and wife Cheryll Blick of Sleepy Eye. He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Gary Blick, Charles Blick, and two in infancy; and a sister, LuAnn Blick.
