Lucille Polzin

Lucille Agnes (Krueger) Polzin, age 89, Windom, MN, passed away February 5, 2020 at Pineview Assisted Living, Windom. Services were held Feb. 10, with burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Windom .

The daughter of William August and Lillian (Stark) Krueger, born in Springfield, August 20, 1930. She went to District 65 country school and Springfield High School. 

On April 2, 1948, Lucille married Delbert Carl Polzin at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Springfield, They were blessed with six children. They were members of Christ Lutheran Church, Comfrey and American Lutheran Church in Windom,

Lucille and Delbert moved to Windom, November 1975. Delbert died February 8, 2008. In November 2015, Lucille moved to Pineview Living, Windom.

Lucille is survived her children, Arland (Deborah) Polzin, Windom; Marlene (Mike) Simon, Windom; Merlin (Cheryl) Polzin, Ledyard, Iowa; Sharon (David) Evers, Jeffers; Richard (Teresa) Polzin, Amboy; Grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) MacPherson, Plainview; Markeita (Brian) Tiegs,  St. Peter; Theresa Polzin, Ledyard, Iowa; Jeffery (Stephanie) Evers, Windom; Sherri (Kelly) Negen, Windom; Christopher (Amanda) Polzin, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; Kelley (Thomas) Hanson, Minneapolis; and Ashley (Nathaniel) Kuhnau, Marshall; Nineteen great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Lenore Krueger, Springfield; Elaine Polzin, Springfield; Lorraine Polzin, Shakopee; brothers-in-law, Dave Buhr, Blaine; Dale (Clare) Polzin, Lamberton and many nieces and nephews. 

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert; son, Russell Polzin; grandchildren, Stacy (Scott) McIntyre; Curtis Evers; brother, Melvin Krueger and brothers-in-law, Fremont, Lester, Leonard, Orville, Myron and Larry Polzin.

Sisters-in-law, Marcella Buhr, Velva Jean Polzin.
