Mary (Ohlemann) Schroeder

Mary Kay Schroeder, daughter of Otto and Alice (Garrow) Ohlemann, was born on March 18, 1955 in Springfield. She was a proud daycare provider for 20 years and worked for the Springfield Public School system. She was known as a second mom to many. Mary enjoyed spending time with family, catching up with friends, and tending to her yard, and especially time with her "Tilly". 

Mary died on Monday, March 9, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, at the age of 65. 

She is survived by her husband Tom of 41 years; brother Michael Ohlemann; sisters Theresa Ohlemann and Sandi (Marley) Buhr; daughter Amy (fiancé Jose) Janzen, son Nathan (Ellie) Schroeder, son Joshua (Lea) Schroeder, and daughter Brittany (Eli) Compton; sister-in-law Beverly Guza; nephew Ryan (Tiff) Marz - known has her 3rd son; grandchildren Brianna Jensen, Piper Westberg, and Jacoby Compton; nieces Lynda Buhr Messerich (Kevin), Deb Bird (Todd), Tracy Guza Bertrand Sigurdson, Ashley Ohlemann Blumhoefer and her husband, Andrea Ohlemann Jorissen and her husband. She is also survived by her beloved dog Tilly. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Otto, parents-in-law Richard and Mary Schroeder, brother Butch Guza, and niece Brenda Gluth. 

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
