Peter Dale Bassett, 78, of Sanborn died on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at Valley View Manor Care Center in Lamberton.
Visitation will be today (Wednesday, Dec. 19), from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and will continue Thursday, Dec. 20, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sanborn.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sanborn with Father Phil Schotzko officiating. Interment with military honors by Colburn American Legion Post 286 will be in the Sanborn City Cemetery.
