Richard “Dick” E. Bloemke, age 91, of Belmond, Iowa, passed away February 28, 2023 at the Kanawha Community Home in Kanawha, Iowa. Funeral service was held Monday, March 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belmond.
Richard was born November 8, 1931 on the family farm north of Springfield to Otto H. and Adelia (Runck) Bloemke. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1949. He married Lucille M. Radtke on May 16, 1954. He was a lifelong pharmacist and longtime owner of Bloemke Pharmacy in Belmond, Iowa.
