Robert J. Beussman

Robert “Bob” Beussman, age 77 of New Ulm, passed away March 6, 2023 at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.  Funeral service was held Monday, March 13 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

Bob was born May 21, 1945 in Springfield, Minnesota to Edwin and Rufina (Hohman) Beussman.  He was a 1963 graduate of Springfield High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Mankato State University.  He was an elementary school teacher in New Ulm Public Schools for thirty-three years.  He served as the mayor of New Ulm for over ten years.
