Sandy was born April 27, 1974 in Springfield, MN to Mike and Connie Lang.  She was baptized and confirmed at St Raphael Catholic Church, Springfield.  She was raised in Springfield with her older brother Paul and graduated from Springfield Public High School in 1992.

Sandy married John Fedde on July 16, 2005 and together they settled in Nebraska for seventeen years.  Throughout their married life together they raised three mischievous cats Charlie, Sadie and Runt.  During this journey of her life, she would often call her father for advice on how to grow asparagus and her mother for recipes and simple conversation about whatever topic was on her mind for the day.   She enjoyed the times John and her spent traveling together and coming home for the Holidays for a heated game of Rummy.  In 2022 this union ended in divorce and Sandy returned home to her roots in Springfield, MN.  As always and especially in the past year as her health continued to spiral downward her best friend and mother Connie was continually walking beside her providing support and care every step of the way.  In her last days, she appreciated the beautiful window view looking out to the river and was grateful for the exceptional care provided by the medical team at St Cloud Hospital.

Sandy was full of a mischievous character and little things in life made her happy.  She would check in with her mom often to get the latest on her nephews lives.  The birth of her two great nephews and baseball game updates were highlights she treasured most.  It was no secret to her loved ones that she struggled with addiction.  Despite her battle she would manage to fight her way through many dark days with her beautiful smile and witty sense of humor.  Sandy was kind-hearted, caring of others, stubborn and tended to believe she was always winning the fight.  Her character was that of a free bird searching where to land and is now at peace in her final home.

Sandy is survived by her parents - Mike and Connie Lang of Springfield; sibling, Paul (Jennifer) Lang of New Ulm; Nephews, Tyler (Cat) Lang and Carter Lang; great nephews, Reid and Roland Lang; Uncle and Aunts, Kenny Lang, Lowell (Cheryl) Lang, Lavonne (Jerry) Hauth, Dan “Chopper” Lang, Cathy Laurin, Carol Schroeder, Cindy Stewart, Scott Stewart and many cousins.

Sandy was preceded in death by her grandparents- Eugene and Gladys Lang, Walter and Barbara Stewart; Aunts and Uncles, Linda Lang, Ray and Brunilla Schilling, Pat Lang and Dianora Lang, Lonny Schroeder, Tom Stewart and Randy Stewart.
