BPA students advance team from regional contest to state conference

On January 19, 12 of the 14 members of the Springfield Chapter of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) attended the regional competition at Minnesota West Technical College in Granite Falls.  

Placing in the top 10 were:  Justin Haugo, eighth in Fundamental Accounting and eighth in Banking and Finance; Madisyn Kuehn, seventh in Banking and Finance; Sierra Roiger, tenth in Medical Office Procedures.  

Students advancing on to the state competition in Minneapolis on March 8-10 include the following:  Global Marketing Team that placed second, its members are Andrew Beckman, Tyson Meidl, Madison Neperman and Anna Plotz.  

Madison Neperman also advances in Individual Economic Research by placing second.  

Anna Plotz placed fourth in Personal Financial Management and Lindsey Kettner placedfifth in Fundamental Desktop Publishing.  

A total of five students will be attending the State Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
