Club honors Students of the Month

Nine Springfield High School seniors were recognized as Students of the Month by the Springfield Lions Club during the 2018-‘19 academic year. The students were nominated by teachers based on their character in and outside the classroom. All these students demonstrate great character and are involved in school activities as well as community and volunteer work. The club honored the nine students at an awards program and dinner at the Springfield Golf Club Sunday afternoon May 5, and then honored the $500 scholarship recipient, Jake Veenstra.
