Dedication Concert for the grand piano

Springfield Public School recently purchased a brand new grand piano to be used for concerts and recitals in the Performing Arts Auditorium at the school.  A special dedication program is scheduled for this Friday evening, October 20 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Auditorium.  

The grand piano, a 7’6” Yamaha C7X, was purchased from Poppler’s Music, Fargo North Dakota.  Funding for the piano came from the school, grants and donations.  Vocal Music Director, Bailey Cords, was instrumental in securing funds for it.  

The hour-long concert will feature a variety of instrumental and vocal music selections. Those performing include Jodi Dalsgaard, Bailey Cords, Julie Prechel, Andrea Berends, Jeff Krueger, Mary Glaeseman, Megan Quesenberry, Jo Schwartz, Alan and Caleb Holles, Levi Johnson,  Lucas Milbrath, Leo Hovland and Gabby Anderson.  Admission is free and refreshments will be served.  Please enter the school through the new high school entrance for the concert.
