Early Childhood Screening Scheduled at Springfield Public School

Early Childhood Screening (ECS) is scheduled for Monday, December 9 at Springfield Public School.  Informational letters were mailed to all eligible 3 and 4 year olds.

Early Childhood Screening was mandated by the State Legislature in 1991.  It is offered free of charge to all 3—5 years old.  Children must complete the screening process prior to entering kindergarten.

Early Childhood Screening helps identify any health or development concerns.  Community and school resources are utilized to assist families and to promote school readiness.

If you did not receive an informational letter, or your child (3—5years old) has not been screened, please call the Springfield Elementary Office at 507-723-4286.
