FFA helps share the ag story at the State Fair

Springfield  FFA and their animals were well represented at the 2018 Minnesota State Fair.  Rural youth helped share the ag story at the State Fair where there’s ample opportunity for the students to showcase their skills. They engaged in competitive exhibits, and from showmanship in the arena to buckets and brushes, they showed fairgoers what it takes to exhibit animals at the Minnesota State Fair. There were many agriculture education opportunities for fair-goers put on by FFA and 4-H members.  Pictures and information provid-ed by Springfield FFA Advisors Sarah Lee ad Kevin Lamont show how our local young men and women participated in a variety of activities at the fair.
