Kindergarten Camp helps child discover love for learning!

Kindergarten Camp is a tradition in the Springfield School district every August.  Children  participated in Kindergarten Camp last week and met half days for four consecutive days.  The schedule included classroom activities directed by the kindergarten teachers, interaction with their peers, experiencing daily classroom routines including participating in the school lunch program. Kindergarten camp participants also have the opportunity to experience enrichment classes including World Cultures, Physical Education, Music and Technology. The 2019 Kindergarten Camp concluded with a picnic lunch with family in Brown’s Park and a bus ride.  The projected enrollment for the 2019-‘20 kindergarten class is 40 students.
